Ni no Kuni 2 is really a fever dream of a game to me. The battle system is just meh. Low enemy variety despite gorgeous visuals. I actually enjoyed the kingdom building a lot. What stuck with me the most was the story though. Somehow it’s predictable and naive and barely there while also being batshit and nonsensical.
